We aim to do great science at the cutting edge, but we firmly believe that innovation needs to be purposeful. The science we do must be guided by a clear and practical overarching aim of delivering useful, high-value products.

We esteem character excellence over every other trait, and will not bend our standards for anyone, no matter how smart or brilliant they may be.
Urgency with care
A sense of urgency and timeliness must pervade everything we do, from responding to inbound emails to fulfilling customer orders. But urgency must go hand-in-hand with care. Care for the quality of our work, care for those with whom we work, and care for our customers.

We believe that creative freedom is essential for doing great work, but we also believe that our best work cannot be done in isolation. Own your work, but don’t work on your own.
