As mRNA scientists ourselves, we needed a robust solution to keep our working environment sterile and RNase-free. We tested a few different commercially available products but figured we could do better, so we came up with our own formulation and put it to the test.

The result?

A spray that provides 100-fold better RNA protection than the current industry standard (we're guessing you know what product we're referring to—if not, ask us 😉). For mission critical research applications where robust RNA protection is of the utmost importance, don't settle for a second-rate product. Use our SureFire™️ RNase Elimination Spray.

And if you don't believe us, we invite you to assay the effectiveness of our SureFire™️ spray for yourself. Although DIY RNase decontamination solutions might seem like a worthy alternative due to their low cost and ease of preparation (for example, the Pipette Jockey website features a protocol for preparing your own bleach-based formulation here), sometimes these can fail to provide any real and adequate RNA protection. In our experiments, the Pipette Jockey bleach-based formulation failed to provide RNA protection even at the lowest RNase concentration of 0.3 ng/square mm (results available upon request). SureFire™️, on the other hand, protected RNA samples from degradation at RNase concentrations of up to 30 ng/square mm (this was the highest RNase concentration we tested). Our SureFire™️ RNase Elimination Spray really works, and we're confident it will be a worthy addition to your lab arsenal.
